iPhone owners will now be able to use the app to help when it comes to making on-the-spot decisions about what to purchase.
Google Shopper can be used to scan products barcodes or even book covers, then pull up reviews to help the user make more informed buying decisions. It also compares prices, both online and at retail outlets, and can retrieve stock level information from shops.
The program even boasts a voice scanner, so you can speak and search, although the results can be a little unpredictable if the search term is a longer one.
You’ll need iOS 4 or better to be able to use the app, which is now on iTunes as a free download in both the US and UK.
